This release of the Alagad Image Component addresses a bug in Image Compression. The Image Component now produces smaller files when using JPEG compression.
This update is free to all licensed users if the Alagad Image Component 2.0.
The latest version of the Alagad Image Component can be downloaded at http://www.alagad.com/index.cfm/name-aic
Also, all versions of the Image Component support the newly released ColdFusion MX 7.

Doug, when I follow the link above and click "Download" on the left I get the old version. Have I missed something?

The zip file seems to contain the old version actually: datestamp of the most recent file is 14 November 2004.

Wow, I feel like an idiot. I wonder where the heck I *did* publish that zip file?!
I’ve re-uploaded the new zip. The Alagad.com site now has the correct version.

Doug, there may be some caching going on, but I’m still getting the same Nov 2004 zip file from:

Julian, the update is out there. Only three files in the zip were updated, the two Image.cfc files (for CF and BD). Clear your cache, etc, and see if that makes a difference. The file is up there now.
